Ma'at Egyptian goddess ritual offering candle
This offering candle is created for Ma'at, the Egyptian goddess of justice, the afterlife, fairness and morality. Cedar leaves, patchouli leaves, carnation petals, turquoise and onyx are the adornments chosen for her candle because of their correspondence to justice and the afterlife. The candle's scent is midnight jasmine. It comes in a 3" x 2", 8 oz. tin.*
Ma'at's name means "state of grace." It is she who decides, at death, if one's heart balances the scales when weighed against her feather - which represents truth. One may petition Ma'at in matters of justice, fairness, morality and truth. She can help one make difficult decisions in these types of situations.
*Kindly note that due to the unique nature of hand-made goods and the availability of materials, adornments, ingredients and colors may vary from those shown. But know that each candle will be equally beautiful and perfectly appropriate for each entity.
